As it stands, as of May 2, 2025:
Th recent de minimis exception expired for China and Hong Kong made products. This does not impact Canada, at this time.
De Minimis Exception: This is the rule that applies to all orders under USD $800 to be allowed to enter duty free to prevent delivery delays at the border.
What this means for you:
- No changes currently.
- All orders valued under $800 USD will not be charged additional tariffs.
- All orders valued over $800 USD may be delivered in multiple packages.
