Our commitment to Indigenous peoples

Ethical Jewelry With Indigenous Partnerships

Here at Designs by Nature Gems, we support the reconciliation of Indigenous businesses and communities by sourcing our crystals from Indigenous suppliers whenever the opportunity arises.

Additionally, we have proudly employed Indigenous individuals as part of our Production Team. As stated in our business mission (Here) We are committed to providing a living wage and access to healthcare benefits which is a necessary part of life. Additionally, all members of our team have taken an introductory Inclusivity Training to better bridge the gap.

Specific Designs:

Arrowhead Designs

Prior to the launch of our Arrowhead Designs  - Our CEO Laura Sultan, consulted with a Métis leader from Michigan to ensure that our work would not be viewed as cultural appropriation.

At the core, respect and dialogue are at the heart of how we approach all matters. This issue is no exception and we continue to strive to improve our commitment.

We’re always open to learning and incorporating more Indigenous-supporting initiatives. If you have suggestions or connections you’d like to share, please do not hesitate to contact us.
